After hearing about the hype and seeing that it was one of the most-watched series worldwide, I finally found the time to watch Squid Game. I have to admit, I had a blast watching it and had a lot of fun throughout the season. It involves hundreds of contestants (all of whom are down on their luck and need money) who are asked to play children’s games in order to win a lot of money, 45.6 billion won (about $33 million). The only thing is that these children’s games are now all deadly and the last contestant wins all the money. It draws you into its world and before you know it, it has you hooked. It’s a thriller with plenty of twists and turns and plenty of violence. This is a show that will stay in your memory long after you’ve watched it. I know it’s already been renewed for more seasons, so I hope they keep the same magic they had for the first season.
