Narrative

Charles, a retiree, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private investigator and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Michael Schur was inspired to create "A Man On the Inside" after watching the Chilean documentary "The Mole Agent", he says: "The Mole Agent" the documentary is powerful because it makes people feel something remarkably similar regardless of age, ethnicity or gender, and I would describe that feeling in a very reductive way as: “I have to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to do a similar thing with the tone: Does our show essentially contribute to that feeling of wanting to call our moms?.

I love Ted Danson!

And he played a very good widower stuck in a grieving rut after losing his wife. This show is heartwarming and depicts the necessary companionship of family and friends as you age, especially after the loss of a loved one.

It’s also hilarious and goofy in typical Danson fashion

It’s an easy watch, easy laugh with touching moments, and I’m looking forward to season 2! It starts off quick and easy to get into and is easy to watch all 8 episodes.

And it doesn’t hurt to have a great cast!

I recommend it to anyone who likes cheesy comedies but also wants to have a good feel.
