Charles, a pensioner, gets a new lease of life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes a mole in a secret investigation at a nursing home. Michael Schur was inspired to create the book “The Man Inside”.

He says, “Agent Mole.” the documentary is powerful because it makes people feel something amazingly similar, regardless of age, ethnicity, or gender, and I would describe that feeling very simply: “I need to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to do the same with the tone: in fact, does our show contribute to the feeling that we want to call our moms? I am 67 years old and it was so wonderful to see so many actors of our generation and their great comedy style.

These actors only get better with age and they did a great job in this cute comedy series! The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and gets deeper into the character storylines.

It’s really not a secret

You don’t mind that it’s not really a mystery, because you’re just having fun watching these golden oldies work and show off their stuff. Just a tribute to how brave it is to be a senior citizen, to stay active and feel visible in our youth-oriented society.
